I had the chance to explore a lesser-known gem in the UAE the Emirate of Fujairah. This trip
was a bit different. It wasn’t just for travel, but also to reconnect with an old friend. For my stay, I
chose the Concorde Hotel Fujairah, located right in the heart of the city.
The hotel gave me a warm welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect
for a relaxed stay. I really appreciated the attention to detail in the room design – simple but
elegant. After a long day of travel, I enjoyed a quiet evening with some tasty local and
international food from their restaurant. The flavors were rich and satisfying – a good way to
wind down.
One of the highlights was the rooftop swimming pool. It’s located high up on the building,
offering beautiful views of the surrounding city and mountains. Swimming there at sunset felt
peaceful and surreal. It gave me a new way to enjoy Fujairah’s landscape, which is quite
different from the rest of the UAE.
The hotel also has a large health club, but this part didn’t quite meet my expectations. It seemed
more like a membership gym for local residents than a hotel-exclusive facility. It was crowded,
and I didn’t get the warm vibe I was hoping for. The spa service was average, and while the
staff were polite, the experience felt more functional than luxurious.
That said, the Concorde Hotel served its purpose well. For travelers looking for comfort and
convenience in Fujairah, it’s a solid option – especially if you want to explore the city or visit
friends. Fujairah itself has a calm, coastal charm that’s worth experiencing, far from the hustle
and bustle of Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
Until next time, keep traveling, keep discovering.
